Ryan Steinberg, MSW Clinical Intern
Patient, empathetic, and compassionate by nature, Ryan has always been drawn to a career as a therapist. Through her education and personal experiences, she has developed a passion for supporting individuals struggling with disordered eating, anxiety, identity formation, self confidence and body image. She hopes to be a reliable and authentic presence for clients as they navigate their own unique journeys.
Ryan’s goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe expressing themselves openly and honestly, at a pace that feels comfortable for them. She aims to work from a strengths-based approach, to emphasize clients’ value and capabilities instead of just focusing on struggles. She believes in meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to help them feel heard, understood, and supported.
About Ryan
Ryan is a current student at NYU Silver School of Social Work, where she is pursuing her Master of Social Work degree and expects to graduate in Spring 2027. Alongside her education, Ryan has gained experience working with children in school and summer camp settings, as well as with adolescents navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Ryan graduated from the University of Miami in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Community and Applied Psychological Studies and a minor in Exercise Physiology. After receiving her Masters, she hopes to get her clinical license to become a full time therapist.
