So much of how we relate to food and our bodies is shaped in childhood 🐣

We learn beliefs, sometimes harmful ones, about what makes us “good,” “lovable,” or “worthy.”

Your inner child may have absorbed messages
Recovery isn’t meant to be done alone.

But not all connection helps us heal. Superficial connections, polite nods, surface-level check-ins, or small talk, can leave us feeling invisible, like we’re performing rather than being ourselves.
Healing is often described as an individual journey, and in many ways, it is.
